Lifetime has teamed up with TD Jakes Enterprises and Big Dreams Entertainment to produce two movies; Lust: A Seven Deadly Sins Story and Envy: A Seven Deadly Sins Story. Both films are based on Victoria Christopher Murray’s anthologies. The films will have back-to-back weekend premieres on Lifetime; Lust airs Saturday, April 10th at 8 pm ET/PT, and Envy airs Saturday, April 17th at 8 pm ET/PT.

Lust: A Seven Deadly Sins Story
The movie directs us to Tiffanie Cooper (Keri Hilson), whose life could not be going any better. With a dream wedding on the horizon, her lifetime partner Damon King (Tobias Truvillion) seems perfect. He is successful and the owner of King Enterprises. So who could spoil Tiffanie’s perfect day but the women herself? When Damon’s best man, Trey Taylor (Durrell ‘Tank’ Babbs), arrives straight out of prison, Tiffanie’s future with Damon is not as strong as it first was. Trey is handsome, bold, and arouses desires in Tiffanie that she finds very hard to control. Damon no longer occupies the forefront of her mind, with Trey becoming an increasingly attractive proposition. But it is clouded with danger. Trey and Damon are bound together by years of history. So Trey’s sudden arrival raises the question: what are his motives, and can he be trusted?

Envy: Seven Deadly Sins Saga introduces Gabrielle Flores (Rose Rollins), who is fulfilled, happy, and has it all. She has a perfect family headed together by her husband. They share a single daughter. On the financial side, things are even better. They are the owners of the best PR firm in the land.
The perfection is short-lived, however. It transpired that Gabrielle’s father had been unfaithful. Not only that, there was a child, Keisha (Serayah), born out of wedlock. Being an only child is not the easiest thing to contend with, so that is why Gabrielle is eager to meet her half-sister. Keisha has an ulterior motive, though. Unlike Gabrielle, Keisha wants something entirely different than a relationship. She wants everything that Gabrielle has, and she is willing to cross any line to get it.
