He previously teamed up with Tyrese and Tank to create the R&B super group TGT which was Grammy nominated for their album Three Kings. Alexus first congratulates the veteran performer for tipping a score of years in the music business. She even professes her love for one of his early albums 100% Ginuwine– especially the song All Nite All Day. She begins asking him what are his favorite songs to perform and he responds Pony and Differences. These too are classic hits many know verbatim and sing along with at his concerts.
Alexus Renée asks Ginuwine can we expect any new material from him soon. He does aspire to collaborate in the near future. He noted, when he does come out with new songs he wants to make sure people pay close attention, that they respect legacy, he wants to go back to people he’s started with such as Timbaland. “G” also loves that he serves as an inspiration for artists like J. Holiday, Raheem Devaughn, Chris Brown and even Tank.
In our exclusive Ginuwine interview Renée asked whether TGT would get back together. He responds, “I’m going to always be with my brother Tank. I don’t know what TGT is going to do but me and my brother Tank we’re always going to do something. We’re always going to create, we’re always going to make music. And hopefully, that third party will come to the party and we’ll make magic once again.”
Aside of music Renée asks about his acting career. Recently Ginuwine has made appearances on a few reality TV shows such as Celebrity Big Brother in London and The Circuit. He says stay tuned for more to come.
