BMF Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere “Detroit vs. Everybody”

What happened in the latest episode of BMF? In the BMF premiere, we flash forward to when Meech and Terry are locked up, both blaming each other for their captures.

Although Meech was flashy and openly taunted the police, Terry was caught on tape by the FBI speaking business. Meech planned to take a plea deal, while Terry planned to fight in court…

What Happened to Markaisha?

We flashed back to the night Markiesha was shot, and Terry rushed her to the hospital. When the family arrived, Terry was confronted for being responsible for the ambush.

Meanwhile, in Atlanta, Meech visited Greeny (portrayed by Ne-Yo) at Goldie’s recommendation. Terry was hasty with his moves, Meech was glad he was still alive, warned him about Markaisha, and advised he make decisions with a cooled head.

Greeny took Meech to the Platinum Palace strip club where ultra premium dancers enticed NBA player money. Meech was introduced to Sterl (Tre Rogers), Diesel, Rip, and Stacks (2 Chainz), who was like an uncle to the slain Ty Washington.

The group spotted Remi Ransom and his crew, the man who killed Ty. Both factions erupted into a brawl!

Afterward, Meech partnered with the crew to flood the streets with his new coke connection and vowed to help in street wars. However, Stacks wasn’t feeling Meech and parted ways…

Markaisha survived the shooting in BMF Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere

Markaisha woke and Terry vowed to find her shooter, while still running his branch of the drug business in Detroit.

Remi was like the Robinhood of the projects, looking out for neighborhood children and their families. He faced threats from dealers and the brutal police task force, The Red Dogs. An acronym for run every drug dealer out of Georgia. The swooped in and attack dope boys without mercy. It was a matter of time before Meech and his crew were on their radar…

In 1990, the city of Atlanta faced a double-edged sword. They bid to host the Olympics, which meant displacement for low-class residents, making way for the new stadium and housing for competitors.

Vengeance

Back in Detroit, Lucille confronted Charles with finalizing their divorce, urging him to find a new place to live. She couldn’t get past him cheating with the neighbor. Although their sons were loaded with cash, they wouldn’t accept their drug money, so they struggled in despair over their poor finances.

Meanwhile, a suspended Det. Bryant spoke with his son, who is in jail for murdering a bully. Det. Jin was livid at Bryant since she, too, was suspended for Bryant’s actions of suppressing gun evidence and corruption. Bryant was still on the hunt for Meech and Terry…

Jin was partnered with newbie Detective Cobie Amberson (partnered with Morgan Alexandria.) They were tasked to interrogate Markaisha.

Terry learned that Meech requested half of his weight to be transported to Atlanta, so he granted it. Terry organized the crew to keep an eye out for police and got a location on Markaisha. He wanted to pull the trigger!

Stand Down

Meech needed Stacks on board since he had Ty’s distribution network. However, being the ultimate businessman with an ear for good music, he heard a rapper spit bars and encouraged his talent. (Something we’ll see transform into a business empire later.)

Meech learned that Terry wanted to kill Saint for Markaisha. Meech aligned it so that Terry wasn’t the triggerman. Terry backed down and let his goons handle the deed.

When Meech’s drugs arrived, he offered Stacks a discount to get him back on board.

Jin and Amberson interrogated Markaisha about her husband’s goon who shot her. It rebutted it was the police’s fault for leaking photos to her estranged husband, making her a target. Then she booted them!

Meanwhile, Meech and Sterl were ambushed at a drop. In a twist, their enemies foes took them out and turned against Meech. They managed to retrieve the cash and flee, one crew member was shot!

A Brilliant Idea

Kevin was being transported to juvenile detention and had to give him a man-up talk so he would become a victim.

Markaisha was released from the hospital, and Terry found a new house for them. In the meantime, he made a wild move, bringing Markaisha to the family dinner where LaWanda was. She was livid and left. Terry told the family he was moving out.

Meech sought to call a truce between all rivaling factions so they all could focus on making money.

Detectives found Saint murdered, suspecting it was the BMF crew. Jin stole a few bricks of coke while Amberson’s back was turned.

Meech called Terry with an epiphany, using the highways to transport their drugs from coast to coast.
