BMF Season 3 Has Been Renewed!

As mentioned, BMF was greenlit by Starz for a third season shortly after its premiere. BMF Season 3 premieres on Friday, March 1, 2024! Check out the premiere episode recap

BMF will be available on Fridays at midnight ET on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms, and internationally on the LIONSGATE+ premium streaming platform in the U.K. and Ireland. On linear, each will debut on STARZ at 8 pm ET in the U.S. and Canada.

BMF Season 3 Plot

Season three of “BMF” delves deeper into the tale of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, played by Demetrius Flenory Jr., and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, portrayed by Da’Vinchi. These siblings founded the Black Mafia Family, one of America’s most notorious crime dynasties.

As we step into the early ’90s, the Flenory clan undergoes a transformation, with Meech relocating to Atlanta, aiming to expand the BMF empire he and Terry initiated in Detroit. Throughout the season, the series offers a poignant exploration of the brothers’ decisions and their pursuit of the American Dream.

Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere “Detroit vs. Everybody”

Airdate: March 1, 2024

In the present, Meech and Terry face incarceration, blaming each other while dealing with the fallout of their actions.

Meech’s Atlanta adventure introduces him to a network of allies and enemies, while Terry deals with family strife and vows vengeance for Markaisha amidst his ongoing drug operations.

The brothers’ struggle is set against a backdrop of a city bidding for the Olympics and a corrupt police force known as The Red Dogs, targeting drug dealers aggressively.

Family dynamics, a growing empire, and a slew of risky decisions, including Meech’s innovative drug transportation idea and Terry’s move to protect Markaisha, showcase their complex journey in the drug trade and beyond.

Season 3 Episode 2 “Magic Makers”

Airdate: March 8, 2024

Terry’s relationship with Markaisha falters. He also deals with the arrest of their primary cocaine source, leading to a scramble to secure a new supplier.

Meech and Terry maneuver through challenges, including family strife and gang wars, to keep their drug empire afloat, with Terry striking a deal with the new player Henrietta, while Meech finds a lead on another source through Angel.

Amidst the business turmoil, personal relationships evolve; Terry attempts to reconcile with LaWanda, and Meech sparks a new romance, reflecting the complexities of their lives beyond crime.

The episode concludes with the brothers finding success in securing a new cocaine plug through Loco, setting the stage for future conflicts with law enforcement and within their ranks, hinting at the precarious balance of their burgeoning empire and personal lives.

Season 3 Episode 3 “Sanctuary”

Airdate: March 15, 2024

Meech faces opposition from rivals and law enforcement at the Jack the Rapper Weekend, while trying to purchase a home in Atlanta with Charles’ help.

Internal strife and strategic moves mark Terry’s efforts to maintain control over his Detroit operations and protect his family from false child protective services allegations.

The episode highlights the dynamics of the Flenory family and BMF crew, including Charles’ initial refusal to assist Meech and Lucille’s personal dilemmas post-separation.

A climactic brawl at the Jack The Rapper convention forces Charles to aid Meech, and Terry’s offer to Bryant showcases the blurring lines between law enforcement and the drug trade.

Season 3 Episode 4 “The Return of the Prodigal Son”

Airdate: March 22, 2024

Meech returns to Detroit upon Colombian connect Loco’s request to pick up weight for BMF. The amount of weight is insurmountable for him to handle alone thus he solicits help from Terry and the Detroit team.

Season 3 Episode 5 “The Battle of Techwood”

Airdate: March 29, 2024

Meech and Terry rediscover the Black Mecca of Atlanta when Terry returns with Meech who connects him new allies to build their business and increase cash flow for the BMF team. Both brothers learn the process of breaking into the scene in Atlanta will not be as easy when they are met with the old guard who wants to retain.

Season 3 Episode 6 “Casualties of War”

Airdate: April 5, 2024

Meech plans to travel to St. Louis solo to link up with J-Pusha post the gun battles and the tension with the MK’s and the Techwood Boyz in Atlanta. He hopes to also build business in St. Louis and to expand BMF. Terry returns to Detroit to welcome his newest addition to the family.

Season 3 Episode 7 “Get ‘em Home”

Airdate: April 12, 2024

Meech travels to St. Louis to link up with J-Pusha and his brother Carter, to set up business there, and finds a new love interest with Keeya, yet he also learns the hustle in Detroit and in Atlanta, is omnipresent.

Season 3 Episode 8 “Code Red”

Airdate: April 19, 2024

Meech returns from St. Louis to Atlanta to learn that the city and his love now belong to Glock. He is determined to build there, and to take the city from his competitors, yet he learns to do this in a smart manner with all eyes watching the city and his next move.

Season 3 Episode 9 “Death Trap”

Airdate: April 26, 2024

Meech and Terry travel to Miami together to meet with a mechanic known as Francois to expand and to build business for BMF. Surprisingly, Glock and the MK’s are there to welcome the Flenory brothers in true Miami fashion, yet despite the interference the brothers escape determined to accomplish the American Dream.

Season 3 Episode 10 Finale “Prime Time”

Airdate: May 10, 2024

Meech and Terry return to Atlanta and their American Dream is almost taken from them after the authorities are tipped of their recent Miami endeavor. The brothers work together to retrieve everything they have worked hard for, and plan to expand to St. Louis and other cities with Miami as a hub. They head to Mexico to re-up on their supply. Meech and Terry are in for one of their greatest adventures.

BMF Season 3 will have three known musicians added to the cast, according to Deadline. 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo will join the cast of the third season. Here are their character bios:

2 Chainz will play “Stacks,” an Atlanta-born and bred distributor whose wisdom and stature command respect wherever he goes. Fiercely loyal and determined to provide for his family no matter the cost, Stacks lives by the street code and challenges Meech’s leadership style.

Ne-Yo will play “Rodney ‘Greeny’ Green,” a local Atlanta player who’s all about making the bag. Filled with swagger and an entrepreneurial spirit, there’s more than meets the eye with Greeny.

Lil Baby will play “Payne,” an eager-to-learn foot soldier out of Atlanta.
