DEMETRIUS “MEECH” FLENORY (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.)
Meech went to school in the streets season one and graduated with honors. He’s learned that sometimes to move forward, you must take a step back.
This season, Meech is determined to get his Detroit home in order and more determined than ever to rise above all obstacles to achieve his goal of expanding BMF, more determined than ever to turn BMF into an empire like no other.
TERRY FLENORY (Da’Vinchi)
Terry has walked away from the drug game and severed his “womb to the tomb” relationship with his charming older brother, Meech. Terry is trying to be his own man and live his own life: he wants to reconnect with the mother of his child (Lawanda), finish high school, and run his own legitimate business: a car-ride service he and his father Charles think can turn a profit and serve as a family legacy.
Terry remains stubborn, independent, caustic, and resists the temptations and seductions of BMF life, even as Meech throws money in his face and a married woman (Markisha) catches his eye. His father is pouring his heart and soul into their business.
His mother (Lucille) is praying that Terry can somehow turn this unique and narrow opportunity into a chance for the entire Flenory clan to move out from under the shadow of Meech and his illicit business. All the pressure is on Terry’s shoulders. He has to carry the dreams of his family on his shoulders.
CHARLES FLENORY (Russell Hornsby)
Being head of the Flenory household has proven to be tough for Charles. His son, Meech, has only gotten deeper into the dope game, and his marriage to Lucille is stressed by constant money issues. One saving grace is the new car service business he started with his other son, Terry. Charles hopes the new business will bring in enough money to pay the bills and keep Terry away from the corrupt influence of Meech.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard Terry tries to go legit, street politics ends up blowing up the car business. Feeling like a failure as a father and not getting the respect as a husband at home, Charles ends up straying from his path. He will eventually discover that his newly-found wild side will come at a high cost.
LUCILLE FLENORY (Michole Briana White)
Meech and Terry’s mother—hard-working, religiously devout, and stern but loving—tries to run a decent, God-fearing household despite privation and poverty.
In Season Two, Lucille recognizes her home life is coming apart at the seams. Her husband Charles has
a wandering eye. Her son Terry now runs the car-ride business he founded using the money from his malpractice settlement, but it’s been slow-going and hasn’t eased her financial burdens. Meech, her eldest, has a reputation that precedes him and causes her further embarrassment at church when her friends begin to shun her. And her daughter Nicole is now a teenager, whose sassy mouth she finds hard to control.
Lucille is ashamed her life hasn’t turned out the way she’d hoped, and her relationship with Charles reaches its breaking point. Now she only has her neighbor Mabel and Pastor Swift to confide in as she sorts through the rubble of her crumbling marriage and household.
DETECTIVE VON BRYANT (Steve Harris)
After falling out with Meech as his man inside the police force at the end of Season One, Bryant is now more hellbent than ever to take down Meech, Terry, and all of BMF. The dirty detective believes a compromised B-Mickie will be the perfect informant to help him do it, but as he slips through his fingers, Bryant will have to come up with new and increasingly ruthless ways to close in on his targets that cost him everything.
DETECTIVE VERONICA JIN (Kelly Hu)
Kelly Hu joins the cast of BMF Season 2 as Detective Veronica Jin. Born and raised in Detroit’s Chinatown, Jin is a smart, complex, and tough cop-out on the streets. Partnered with Detective Von Bryant, played by Steve Harris, Jin’s emotional journey is both universal and unique – universal because she is a product of the American Dream shaped by her Chinese and Vietnamese immigrant parents, but unique because Jin becomes the only Asian American, female detective in the murder capital of the world in the ‘80s.
B-MICKIE (Myles Truitt)
B-Mickie starts off Season 2 as a man with no home. His mother’s health is rapidly declining, and he killed the woman he loved to prove his loyalty to Meech. And even though Meech has promoted him in BMF, it’s clear he will always be a third wheel when it comes to the Flenory brothers.
Bryant is holding the evidence over B-Mickie’s head and threatening to lock him up for murder if he doesn’t help him in his mission to get back at Meech. B-Mickie carefully walks the tight-rope as the middle man in this war between Meech and Bryant, while he figures out whom his true allegiance lies to. But as time goes on, and secrets are uncovered, the audience will be left wondering who will turn on who first.
Goldie (Mo’Nique)
Mo’Nique will star as the character “Goldie,” a sophisticated Atlanta strip club owner with swagger and street smarts. She forms an alliance with the Flenory brothers which will help fuel their migration from Detroit to Atlanta. A fierce protector of her dancers and the people in her world, Goldie isn’t afraid to take care of business, no matter what the cost.
Federal Agent Tracy Chambers (Leslie Jones)

Leslie Jones will star as Federal Agent Tracy Chambers. Smart and calculating, Chambers knows how to maneuver the bureaucracy that comes with carrying a badge. Years on the streets facing the most dangerous drug dealers have shaped her into a formidable hard charger. She suffers no fools and has a wicked wit to back it up.
MARKISHA TAYLOR (Alani “La La” Anthony)
La La Anthony plays Markisha Taylor, a smart, sophisticated and street savvy wife of a powerful Detroit dealer. Despite the risk, Terry begins to pursue her relentlessly and they develop a friendship. As BMF‘s business booms, Markisha becomes Terry’s confidant and they embark in an exhilarating and dangerous affair, putting Terry at odds with the people he loves the most.
