Warning… Spoilers below!

On The Game (Reboot) Episode 9, Jason Pitts surprised his daughter Brittany at her home while she kissed Jamison for the first time. Of course, he threw the young man out. He consulted his friend and former teammate Malik about his contract extension, seeing as though his team of on a losing streak, he was concerned.

The conversation rose about Malik’s frustrations with his mother. Jason even suggested Malik fire Tasha. The two were at Joint 51 and ironically JJ Jiggles was called to the stage and both Jason and Jamison locked eyes. Malik rubbed it in Jason’s face that he didn’t know his daughter was dating a stripper LMAO!

Cashed & Banned

Tasha went to Simone Garner’s office ready to extract a video apology for cutting her daughter’s hair before the tennis competition. Knowing she wouldn’t admit to it, she was prepared with a Plan B, serving her with paperwork suing her and the school.

Simone banned Tasha and her daughter from the school. Tasha threatened to buy Oakmont and squeeze her out. Though, Simone had the last laugh as the nearly $2 million dollar fundraiser check Tasha raised finally cleared.

Eyes On The Prize

Meanwhile, on Tasha’s jet, she tasked Brittany with errands including hiring a hitman to take care of Simone (kidding!) Brittany asked about buying the school and Tasha shared it was great to have an influx of up-and-coming athletes for the agency business plus hide the fact that she got her daughter expelled.

Brittany shared that her father was being surprised inducted into the hall of fame while in Vegas. She was charged with the ambush yet felt inadequate in his eyes- the pressure was on.

The Las Vegas Fightin’ Fury held a joint practice with the San Diego Sabers. While in the locker room, players complained as a few got cut and they sought to strike. The conversation shifted towards Garret who was privileged to not play while he negotiated his contract. Talks then migrated for the need of a player rep. They wanted to nominate Malik as the player’s advocate but he was advised to pass (by Caleb) to focus on ownership.

Thereafter, Tasha visited Jamison to give him his first football check as she wanted to see his face in person. She told him to buy something better than the bike he rode. He was grateful.

Malik ran into an old teammate, Geno Jenkins, outside a convenience store. The man fell on hard times since he last saw him. Malik offered that he stay at his palace while in town. Caleb strongly advised against it but he didn’t listen.

He hooked Geno up with a cut and pampering. Geno explained how life took a downward spiral on him and also shared, he too, had an imaginary friend, Prince. Malik even offered him a job with the Fightin’ Fury. Caleb was opposed to Geno, claiming he was crazy, yet Malik stifled his reflection.

Jamison visited Britanny and surprised her with a pair of skates, inviting her out on a date with him. Raquel and Garrett emerged from the room and invited themselves, forming a double date.

Later on, Jason spoke with Brittany about his disapproval of Jamison. He explained it wasn’t because he’s a stripper or ex-con… but a football player. Speaking from experience, he didn’t want that life for his daughter. Brittany shifted the conversation and showed him her pitch for Club Fury.

There were two monkey wrenches in her plan. First, she needed Tasha in the deal. Second, she needed $1.6 million dollars upfront and asked Daddy for it. He shut her down immediately!

Tasha met with Oakmont’s COO, Monet, about Simone but she was mostly dug in with the board. Tasha needed her help convincing the other board members to flip on Simone.

Unexpected Twist

Jamison was like a teenage boy on his first date stumbling over his words. He confided in Garrett who ragged him for not having sex since prison. When the ladies joined the conversation, Garrett outed him telling the ladies Jamison wants to have sex with Brittany. He nervously denied and admitted to it.

They went back to skating but some goons started to harass the Fury teammates. Jamison went to protect Brittany and the men collided, twisting Jamison’s ankle in the melee.

Tasha visited her financial advisor about purchasing Oakmont. She was stretched thin with the two office locations and the jet. It was either get rid of the jet or find a partner with deep pockets to float her for six months. She chose the latter.

Spoiled Suprise

The next morning, Garret made breakfast for Raquel and she was furious that he posted a video of her singing. The comments dragged her and she was so pissed that for kicked him out and threw the food in the trash.

Jamison tried to practice with a bum ankle but Coach Long noticed and questioned him about it. He lied about the injury at the advice of Garrett. Coach reminded him about their talk of no drama.

Malik brought Geno to the head scout, Roger Nelson, but Geno started to flip out telling them both, “he ain’t Rogers.” Malik pulled him to the side but Geno pushed him to the wall repeating the same statement and stormed off.

Jamison met with a dealer, Smoke, who gave him some pain meds. Thereafter, Jason saw Jamison and confronted him about dating his daughter. Jamison promised not to hurt her, Jason held him to it.

Jason finally got the call from the Sabers and they weren’t extending his contract. Brittany had the surprise hall of fame piece all ready for him and he was so pissed he refused to get on camera. Tasha went to chat with him and spoiled the surprise. She told him Kelly and Brittany planned it and his daughter felt she was a failure to him. She also left him with the fact that he would’ve gotten the contract extension had she been his agent…

Supporting Goals & Habits

Garrett came to apologize to Raquel and she had the same sentiment. She didn’t care for money and fame yet didn’t want to be shadowed by his. He wanted to be exclusive to her and they kissed and made up!

Jason pretended to be surprised at the hall of fame induction. He pulled Brittany on camera with him and shared he was proud of her and would support her dreams going forward. He would partially fund the club but advised her that she needs to inform Tasha of her unknown involvement.

On the way out, Tasha texted Mr. Deep Pockets (Col. Thatcher) and asked if he was interested in a new business venture. He was in!

Malik went to watch Geno dancing in front of the convenience store he found him at. Chatting with himself (and Caleb) that he could face a future similar to the man. He then made the decision to become the player’s rep- not thinking of himself but others for a change.

Jamison wrestled with the decision to dope his injury and Brittany interrupted him. Surprised by his action, he asked her to help shoot the needle. She was against it, knowing from her father’s experience with it. He pleaded he needed it for his career and she told him she would do it this one time, injected him, and walked away…
