Welcome to the Super Bowl Soulful Edition of Celebrity Myxer, live from Las Vegas to celebrate the 25th Super Bowl Soulful Celebration. This event is too epic to keep within Vegas! We’re bringing all the details of this amazing event to those who couldn’t be here. The celebration will honor notable individuals for their significant impacts both on and off the football field. Among the men being recognized are Nate Burleson, Damar Hamlin, and Markquese Bell.
The event will also honor outstanding women in the NFL, including Dasha Smith, Kimberly Fields, and Sandra Douglas of the Las Vegas Raiders, with the ESSENCE Glass Ceiling Breaker Award for their achievements and contributions to sports. The award ceremony highlights Mielle’s commitment to inclusion and empowerment.
Performers that will rock the stage include Earth, Wind & Fire, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Robin Thicke, plus The Players Choir.
The big show is hosted by Cedric the Entertainer and Tichina Arnold. The 25th anniversary of the Super Bowl Soulful Celebration is airing on CBS & Paramount+ this February 10th.
Honorees include Nate Burleson, receiving the “Lifetime of Inspiration” Award; Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills, receiving the “New Beginnings Award;” Markquese Bell from the Dallas Cowboys, who was honored as the “HBCU Player of the Year.”
The NFL isn’t only about the fellas, but some astute ladies were honored. The ESSENCE Glass Ceiling Breaker Award honorees are Dasha Smith and Kimberly Fields from the NFL and Sandra Douglas of the Las Vegas Raiders.
