Previously on NCIS Season 19 Episode 15, Parker’s delinquent past resurfaces when NCIS is called to Philadelphia to investigate the death of a Navy petty officer.
Warning… Spoilers below!
On NCIS Season 19 Episode 16, a young couple is having a gender reveal party. The airplane flys by overhead, but no message appears. Instead, body parts start falling from the sky!
Raining Body Parts
The team all receives the exact same message from Parker, saying that body parts are raining out of the sky!
Torres and Palmer are picking up body parts from the crime scene when Torres finds a whole finger.
Hines identifies the finger and it belongs to Emma Radner. She has been missing for 5 months now and everyone believes her husband, Sam Radner killed her.
Hostage
McGee and Knight go to meet up with Molly, Emma’s sister, best friend, and neighbor. During the questioning of Molly, the Freemans show up who are close family friends to Molly and Emma. The team has a warrant for Sam but he won’t answer the door. Molly has a key.
Hines tells Parker and Torres that the body parts didn’t fall from the plane, it was vultures that found Emma’s body, ate part of her, and puked her back up in the sky when they almost got hit by the plane. The vultures were tagged by DNR and the team finds their nest. Vultures only feed near their nest. Parker finds Emma’s body close by.
Knight uses Molly’s key and enters Sam’s house. He is upstairs with a gun to his head!
Shot fired
Knight is trying to talk Sam out of suicide. He brings up a podcast show that the team has been talking about, and says everyone already believes he is guilty. Knight tells him she’s heard the podcast and she thinks he is guilty, but if he is innocent he should tell his story.
Director Vance tells Knight she has 10 minutes or they are taking Sam out with a sniper. Knight gets Sam to lay down the gun. She comes inside the room and they talk about Emma. He says he loves Emma and took ballroom dance classes, buys her flowers all the time, and even makes her breakfast in bed. Knight tells him to prove the internet wrong and tell his story.
Hines finds an ATV trail that Sam used all the time from his house to where Emma’s body was found. She tells the team if he’s the killer, then he will kill Knight.
One single shot is fired inside Sam’s house. The team has no idea who shot their gun or if anyone was killed.
Vacation
Sam is alive! Knight saved him even as he pulled the trigger. Molly comes out of her house screaming at him, that he is a killer.
McGee and Torres question Sam. They think he killed Emma because she told her therapist she was thinking about a divorce.
Hines tells the team that Sam sent Emma flowers the day she went missing. He was in Florida on vacation when he sent the flowers. Emma got the flowers and was wearing one behind her ear when she died. It couldn’t have been Sam!
Keyholders
Knight and Torres ask Sam who else besides Molly had a key to their house. He tells them their friends, the Freemans have a key, because Walt is their handyman also.
Hines comes in and tells the team she found a print on the flowers Sam sent Emma. It is Nancy Freemans’ fingerprint, Walt’s wife! She thought Walt was having an affair with Emma and killed Emma in a jealous fit.
At Emma’s burial, Knight tells Sam she understands his grief, she recently just lost some family/friends. Sam and Molly make up and reconnect over their love and grief for Emma.
