Watch Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 11 “As Nottingham Was To Robin Hood”
Previously on Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 10, a famous hacker was broken out of prison. He led police on a wild goose chase. Meanwhile, the Feds enlisted the help of now freed Richard Wheatley to help apprehend the cyberattacker since he did a bid in prison with him.
The team’s computers were compromised and they wanted crypto to pay the ransom and Wheatley happen to have it available for them to use. To OC’s surprise, Wheatley orchestrated the entire plot to sprung the hacker and form a partnership with him to bring NYC to its knees!
Warning… Spoilers below!
On Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 11, Governor Teddy Garcia held a press conference about the manhunt for Sebastian McClane.
Under Seige
Meanwhile, Wheatley told McClane about his quest for vengeance against Det. Stabler and New York City. McClane denied his master plan. Wheatley let him go but knew the man will return. McClane recovered money he buried in the woods…
The OC team was coming up empty trying to find McClane. Detectives interviewed Victoria, McClane’s ex-girlfriend who had his child, Callie, and he never knew. Victoria’s mother looked down on the man who claimed to be a modern-day Robin Hood. Afterward, Stabler suspected Wheatley and McClane were working together. Suddenly, the whole city was under cyber siege causing mayhem in the metropolis.
Wheatley arrived at Gov. Garcia’s and conveniently advised them that more ransom demands will come. On a video conference, Stabler learned that Wheatley was assisting Gov. Garcia. Stabler brazenly told Garcia he was sitting right next to the criminal mastermind and he didn’t believe him.
Making Amends
McClane got cleaned up and went to a bank to make a deposit. He tried to manipulate a teller to allow him to deposit $200K into an account for a Kesha Jones. The teller hit the silent alarm. Before escaping, he told her that he wasn’t going back to prison until this is done.
The OC team wanted to communicate with McClane and arranged to speak over the phone. Stabler spoke with him and the hacker wanted the $200K transferred into crypto and deposited into Kesha Jones’ account. He will surrender in front of her home at 10 pm that night after he spoke with her and her mother, Sherry.
They were baffled about how will they get the money. Suddenly, someone on a bike ran into Malachi and dropped the bag of money off. McClane felt guilty about a bank security guard whose death he was responsible for when he hacked into the Federal Reserve five years prior. The money was to make amends.
Intercepted
Earlier Stabler had tailed Wheatley but he got away. He caught up with him later on and got a frightening call from Bernadette. That prompted Stabler to confront Wheatley and threaten to kill him if he harms anyone else close to him!
The OC team was superseded by the Feds. McClane kept his word and showed up and the Sherry Jones’ residence. Once inside, he apologized for his part in her husband’s death and offered the money. He peacefully surrendered but was intercepted from the Feds by Wheatley’s man.
Wheatley visited Garcia at his home aiming to manipulate him into putting Stabler on ice for being an overzealous cop.
McClane woke at Wheatley’s with Angela. Her job was to convince him to work with Richard rather than against him. McClane ended leaving. The OC team found footage of McClane being dragged out of the intercept car unconscious. It was Angela’s place and when Stabler spoke with her, she didn’t try to hide the limp.
Stabler and Bell tracked McClane and he led them to Wheatley. Suddenly, the power in the building went out and they lost the two. Somehow they got to the rooftop and fled in a helicopter and got away…
(This was rather hard to believe when Stabler had the two men in his sights, they were only 100 feet away!) 🤔
