Watch Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 10 “Nemesis”
Previously on Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 9, in the crossover episode with SVU, Eli ditched the sentencing and spent the night with a random beautiful woman. They did drugs and when he woke, she was murdered. He was the prime suspect so his father and Capt. Benson helps the police determine who the real killer was. The evidence pointed back at Wheatley but they suspect it might be someone else responsible.
They also didn’t know that his ex-wife, Angela Wheatley, was faking her condition and possibly was the mastermind behind the bombing! Even worse, Richard beat his murder rap because a retrial was too weak to attempt…
Warning… Spoilers below!
On Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 10, a notorious cybercriminal, Sebastian McClane, was a part of a prison break with four other inmates. His colleagues hacked the prison’s security to free him.
Det. Slootmaekers recognized the hacker and briefed the team about McClane. They learned of his past and that he was a master manipulator.
Richard Wheatley was interviewed in a podcast. Det. Stabler crashed the interview and overheard he was assisting the Feds.
A prison guard, Gonzalez, was manipulated by McClane to use her phone to get a line on the outside. Stabler and Bell visited one of his colleagues who hacked the federal reserve when suddenly he got a call from an unknown number. They tailed the man and he meet with McClane and gave him his car. The detectives chased and cornered him. When they approached the car it was empty!
The hacker controlled the car remotely, he even bashed up his face so he wouldn’t be identified with facial recognition software. Slootmaekers needed help so they sought the help of Malachi (the hacker who had a crush on Jett.)
Meanwhile, the Feds sent in a consultant to help Organized Crime with the case… it was Richard Wheatley! Stabler stormed out after seeing the man, he felt Wheatley was playing them. They told him that Wheatley had intel that can truly help the case.
Stabler met with Angela Wheatley to ask her about McClane, of course, she played the role of being disabled and having a lapse in memory in front of the detective. Though she messed up by stopping a glass of water from tipping over when Stabler knocked into it. He didn’t add it up (yet.)
Congressman Kilbride gave a speech about his new library project, Bell and her wife attended. Bell noticed Nova was there and she had been appointed as Kilbridge’s aid. She tasked her C.I. with watching the politician closely. Later on, Kilbride met with his construction workers and mandated they keep the project delays ongoing in order to milk it.
Meanwhile, at the station, Wheatley recommended the techs try a hacking technique. When they did, it took over their systems, ransoming $500K in cryptocurrency to unlock it!
Wheatley conveniently offered to use his crypto to pay the hackers (since his crypto had geotagging for tracking.) When he did, someone withdrew some of the cash instantly in Queens. Police arrived at the perpetrator’s location and he started firing on police! They apprehended the man but it wasn’t McClane…
They pondered if Wheatley set them up. Hiring the decoy hacker and putting out the flame. Wheatley then had McClane grabbed to have dinner with Angela and himself. They marveled at how Wheatley plotted to bust him out of prison.
Stabler knew they got played and vowed to get proof…
