He’s also one of the top tattoo artists in Chicago… some may like to say he is Cold As Ice. We get to see a genuine side of Van outside of the drama of the reality show. On the show we spoke about his current and future endeavors with new tattoo parlor Cold As Ice as well as he still co-owns 9Mag. We discussed some of his best tattoos to date; including one done of rapper T.I.’s sister who recently past and one of Trayvon Martin on the back of his activist father Tracy Martin. Van even drops us a sneak peak into one of his funniest tattoo moments that will air in the upcoming Black Ink Crew Chicago season 6 episodes (watch the video to get exclusive early access!) We also discussed his Chicagorilla clothing line; new designs and expansion into more retail stores. Lastly, we touched on a recent major tragedy with the loss of iconic rapper and philanthropist Nipsey Hussle. #ripnipsey
