In Broad Daylight is an action crime thriller based on true events. In the film, a couple meet at a family barbecue and fall head over heels in love. They start a family but then the relationship takes a turn for the worse. Jordan Boudreaux’s (Chyna Layne, She’s Gotta Have It) character ends the relationship and estranged ex-boyfriend Steve (Curtis Hamilton, Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le) goes deranged. Then one day, in the middle of the day, Jordan is abducted and her family band together to try and find her. The ex beau is, of course, the prime suspect and Jordan’s cousin Malik (Shad “Bow Wow” Moss, executive producer) leads the charge to find her and bring her home before it’s too late. The movie premieres Sunday, July 14th at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT on TV One. Watch the trailer above and tune in!

TV One’s month of LOVE, LIES & MURDER films features a series of stories that explore the dark side of love including deceit, betrayal, obsession and jealousy. In this movie Shad Moss (aka Bow Wow) stars in and produces the film. In an interview he says he gets to call his own shots as he has plenty of creative control. “I’m excited about In Broad Daylight, this is the first film where I was presented with the opportunity of being the executive producer. This film sheds light on something I’m very passionate about which is family,” said film star Moss. “Additionally, this film highlights the strength in a determined community.
