Warner Bros. has released the Godzilla vs. Kong trailer and it’s awesome! Godzilla is on a global rampage, again. And humanity’s only hope for stopping its destruction is with the help of King Kong. The film will be released nationwide in 2D and 3D in select theaters and IMAX on March 26, 2021, and will be available in the U.S. on HBO Max for 31 days from the theatrical release.

The trailer hinted some origins among the duo- stating the monster verse are engaged in war and “they’re the last ones standing.” The world is at stake. Humanity stands in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe. The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.

Two epic mythical mega monsters will collide in Godzilla vs. Kong. In the new film, King Kong has bonded with a young orphaned child named Jia. She can communicate with him. Military leaders use the child as a proxy to get Kong to be an ally for humanity. In the trailer, we see Kong has been captured by the military, and Godzilla swims through their crusade to attack. There are so many adventurous large scale battles in this movie. It’s a must-see!
