Chicago’s Englewood Neighborhood Receives Beacon Of Hope

Celebrity Myxer followed up on a story receiving an exclusive invite from AT&T to cover the ribbon cutting opening ceremony of their new store in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. This is a significant store and opening because it aligns with the #BelieveChicago initiative which invests in those gun violence stricken communities by opening new stores, offering good paying jobs to residents from those communities and giving them a voice via films such as the Beacons of Hope documentary airing on Audience Network March 15th. We had a blast opening the store to the public- alongside dignitaries such as Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, President of AT&T Illinois Eileen Mitchell, Alderwoman Toni Foulkes, 4-time NBA Champ Horace Grant and the hilarious Benny The Bull mascot of the Chicago Bulls.

Check out the footage and message in the video above. Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood is on the rise with initiatives like this. Bravo AT&T! Chat with us in the comments below!
