It’s finally released… Chance The Rapper’s The Big Day album dropped today and has collaborations from Shawn Mendes, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie and Timbaland. Chance has teased this project for months online and now today is the big day. This makes the rapper/activist’s first official album. He has garnered much success from previous mixtapes including; 10 Day in 2012, Acid Rap in 2013 and Coloring Book in 2016. The latter earned him 3 Grammy awards included “Best Rap Album.” It was the first streaming-only album to win the prestigious music award.
We love how Chance uses his celebrity for good. He continually donates to Chicago’s Public School system- even instrumental in empowering youth via his SocialWorks organization.
