In our last segment of Chicago Highlights we told you about an ambitious young entrepreneur named Tamarah who has both a pastry and apparel business. We attended her popup shop… let’s check out the story!
Kita Lashuan is the CEO/Founder of a non-profit organization called HOSTS (Helping Others Survive Their Storm). She also feeds and clothe the homeless on the second Saturday each month. She volunteers at nursing homes and with Ronald McDonald Charities! And she doesn’t stop there… she is also a co-host of a podcast titled “T”. She just released her first book this year called “Twisted Devotion”! This black lady rocks make sure you are supporting her!
Tisa Johnson is an event planner. Her company, Touched By Angels, is a dope party planner service. Whatever kind of event you are looking to do, she is the lady to decorate it for you! She does parties, weddings, gender reveals, proms… I mean everything and it’s going to be beautiful and the price is very reasonable. She also has a boutique called Pink Junke– so go get some nice outfits ladies. Be sure you check out her Facebook page and see what I’m talking about. Keep doing your thang miss lady!
