Black Excellence Month

February is well-known as Black History Month but we’re putting our own spin on it and all month we’ll be celebrating Black Excellence Month! In this episode we pay homage to the legendary leaders such as Harriet Tubman, Nelson Mandela, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Speaking of Dr. King, his birthday holiday recently passed an we saw celebs share his quotes, photos in action as well as historical video of Mr. King in his prime. One of my favorite quotes of his comes from a letter he wrote…

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Black History is more than slavery… But the innovation, brilliance, trendsetting and creativity our people used to overcome systemic oppression.

There are four volumes including; Black history, Black women, S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math), and pre-1492 leaders.
