Previously on Young Sheldon Season 6 Episode 8, Sheldon’s database invention puts him at odds with the university. Also, the church takes issue with Meemaw’s video store.

On Young Sheldon Season 6 Episode 9, Missy asks Meemaw if she can invite a boy, Dean, over to watch a movie. She knows if she took him to her house, her family would embarrass her. Meemaw had a set of rules for her to rule. The teens planned to watch Little Mermaid, and they kissed on the lips…
Sheldon sought Missy’s help in pretending to be his secretary while he was connected to Mr. Jennings about his database. Young Sheldon devised a plan to meet with the man via phone a day earlier rather than him discovering he was a teen while face to face. His plan was foiled (along with his deepen voice) when his mother hopped on the phone LOL!
Meanwhile, Coach Wilkens invited Pastor Rob to pray for the kids before their big game. George Sr. was shocked at this presence, but Wilkens had been seeking his counsel since his wife left him. George got another surprise with the pastor took his huddle snap.
