Angelina Jolie stars in the action-thriller, ‘Those Who Wish Me Dead,’ which is set to hit theatres on May 14, 2021. The project was written and directed by Taylor Sheridan. It promises to bring out the very best of Jolie.

Those Who Wish Me Dead

We come across Hannah Faber (Angelina Jolie), whose dedicated role as a smoke jumper leaves her, with more heartache than satisfaction. During the course of her shift, Hannah is unable to do what she has so often been able to do: save lives.

Traumatized by her inability to save three people from a fire, she runs into Connor Casserly (Finn Little) a 12-year-old boy. Something is conspicuously wrong. Connor is breathless, damaged, and clearly in distress.

It turns out his parents have been assassinated by professional contractor killers: Jack Blackwell (Aiden Gillen) and Patrick Blackwell (Nicholas Hoult). The latter is not only familiar with killing, but they have something else that binds them together. They are father and son respectively.

Having learned of Connor’s ordeal, Hannah takes it upon herself to look after him. She takes him into a remote tower, as the two seek to evade the assassins. Their cover is soon blown out of the water, though. The assassins track them down and set fire to their hideout. Hannah and Connor must escape, but in doing so, they are risking everything.
