  1. Betty Smith says:

Who was the actress who portrayed the 90 year old Holocaust victim whose Van Gogh painting was stolen in Blacklist “The Avenging Angel”?

  2. Dr. Ross du Clair says:

Last night’s episode, “Avenging Angel” showed that even without Bokencamp, the writers can still produce gripping story arcs. The ninety-year old Holocaust survivor in a heavy metal band was incredibly powerful; The lyrics, her voice, the stage, everything was detailed so beautifully and compelling. A gem inside this drama. We’re left with Harold doing the right thing outside the police station; but, do we really know? Here’s what I do know: Blacklist is THE only piece of television I watch. It is mystery, gripping story, intellectual, a challenge for my logic, and more than just entertainment.
Also last night, the cinematography explored many new camera angles and framing. The lighting explored details in the shadows. The Director and Cinematographer are to be praised for moving out of the “Golden Ratio.”
