Nia Sioux & Sherri Shepherd Star in Lifetime’s ‘Imperfect High’

Nia Sioux (Dance Moms) and Sherri Shepherd (Mr. Iglesias) star in Lifetime’s Imperfect High. The movie is set to air on Saturday, September 18th at 8/7c and is a sequel to the 2015 film starring Bella Thorne.

In addition to the movie, Lifetime will promote SAMHSA—Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration—on air to provide some valuable resources to those suffering from addiction.

Premise

The movie follows the journey of Hanna Brooks (Nia Sioux), who is a newly enrolled student trying to make her way to Lakewood High School. The school has its own share of problems, though. Just years prior to Hanna’s arrival, the school was devastated by the story of another student who had taken a drug overdose.

This is playing on Hanna’s mind, given that she suffers from an anxiety disorder. In her attempts to fit into the crowd, she finds herself stuck in the middle of a battle between two boys. One is a troublemaker, who happens to be genuine, while the other is rich with an attitude that is anything but sincere.

Things take a turn for the worse. Hanna’s mother, Deborah (Sherri Shepherd), must intervene in order to stop her from getting into danger. So how will it end?
