One of the most anticipated albums this week is Pop Smoke Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon. This nineteen track posthumous album features many heavy-hitting artists including Lil Baby, DaBaby, Quavo, Future, 50 Cent, Roddy Ricch, Tyga, King Combs, and more.

The new album cover featured above with highlights of a rose silhouette is the newly designed cover because this initial album cover sparked fan backlash. It looked like an amateur Photoshoper’s attempt. Especially, insulting since it came from a prominent designer Virgil Abloh. It was quickly changed. Pop Smoke’s management released a Deluxe edition of the album with 15 new tracks on Pop’s 21st birthday, July 20th. There’s new album artwork. Find it here.

Pop Smoke was murdered Wednesday, February 19th, in an invasion at his home in the Hollywood Hills. Major artists learned of his slaying and poured out public tributes. He was on the track to rise to stardom and taken too early before the masses could get to know him and his music. He is another sad example of “they don’t love you until you’re gone.” The masses are now discovering his music and enjoying it.

Pop’s signature deep voice, bullet ripping adlibs, and that distinctive UK Drill sound on the beat are staples of the album. He also switches it up with a Fabolous-style singing flow. Here are a few tracks to bump in your ride “Aim For The Moon,” “Make It Rain,” “The Woo,” “West Coast Shit,” and we can’t forget the popular “Dior” bonus song.
