On NCIS Season 19 Episode 21 Finale, a man is out bird watching when he sees a woman out running. The woman gets drugged and thrown into her trunk. The man sends a message stating that they have the woman.

Parker’s Ex-Wife

HR brings in a huge stack of papers with Parker’s disclosure forms. The team is very curious about why there are so many and all of Parker’s secrets from his past.

Hines notifies the team that she received photos of the woman that was drugged and abducted. Parker walks in and wants to know why Hines has a picture of his ex-wife, Vivian Kolchak, on her screen.

Parker’s Ex-Partner

Vivian used to work in the FBI and now is the head of the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force for the Department of Defense.  The team thinks the emails and pictures are to taunt Parker. The last person Vivian called was Parker’s dad, Roman. Roman and Parker get into an argument about Parker never joining the Navy, and Roman says that Vivian does her run near Wyatt Lake.

The team heads to Wyatt Lake and finds the birdwatcher’s location and chewed up sunflower seeds. Parker asks if the seeds are salted or unsalted, and runs off. Hines finds DNA on the sunflower seeds that belong to Frank Ressler, Parker’s ex-partner. Frank recently got fired from the FBI for taking bribes. The team raids Frank’s house and finds Vivian’s car. Parker checks the trunk and finds Vivian is not there, but there’s blood. Frank is dead inside the garage.

Parker admits to the team that he came to Frank’s house after they found the sunflower seeds to confront Frank alone, but Frank was not home. The team is nervous about why Parker would try to confront Frank alone.

Parker’s Ex-Boss

Vance and Parker video chat with the Deputy Director of the FBI, Wayne Sweeney. Wayne says that Parker needs to be investigated for the death of Frank. Vance tells Parker that he believes him, but sends him home and off the case.

Palmer is complaining to Ducky about the whole team not knowing anything about Parker’s past. Palmer tells Knight that Frank fought his killer and has some DNA under his nails. The DNA matches back to Parker! Torres says they have to call Vance and bring Parker in for questioning.

The team shows up at Parker’s house and when Parker answers the door, Vivian is standing there!

Quote the Raven

Parker shows the team a note from The Raven saying Nevermore again. Ducky says the Raven blames Parker for stopping him from releasing the biotoxin into the city. The team tells Parker they found an old FBI investigation that is still open involving Parker.

The FBI has found Frank’s bribe money he took, in a bank account in the Cayman Islands. The FBI thinks it’s Parker’s bank account. Parker wants the team to hand the case over because the Raven is too dangerous, and he doesn’t want the team in any danger, trying to clear his name. The team realizes that even though Parker isn’t Gibbs and they don’t owe Parker anything, Parker has always had their backs, including Gibbs’. They decide to do whatever it takes to help clear Parker’s name.

Palmer and Knight discuss how good their coffee dates have been going. They start kissing and knock over the tomato plant Hines gave to Parker. They find a wire inside the plant. Parker’s house is bugged! The FBI is after Parker, and the Raven is trying to hand Parker to them on a silver platter.

Vance tells the team it’s too late, and the FBI is on their way to pick Parker up. McGee tells Parker to remember rules 5, 8, and 15 (You don’t waste good, Never take anything for granted, and Always work as a team). Vance tells  FBI deputy director Wayne that Parker is missing and hands over the case files. The team gives Parker a bag of clothes and a burner phone so he can run. Hines gives Parker a list of people who could really own the Cayman Island bank account and tells him to go check them out.

The team calls Parker’s family and says their goodbyes. Parker gets in the car with Vivian, and they drive off together to find the Raven. Parker tells Vivian that they are headed to the place they honeymooned to hide. Vivian secretly texts someone saying she has Parker!
