Warning… Spoilers below!
On NCIS: Hawai’i Season 1 Episode 22 Finale, Commander Thomas Kelley has died of poisoning on the plane. Jane doesn’t want anyone else on the plane to know he was murdered yet. Joe receives a call stating that Anton has died as well. They were both poisoned!
Jane calls the team and tells them about Anton and Thomas’s murders. Kai is working on how the Freeloff’s car exploded. Boom-Boom explains it was TATP, an explosive chemical compound.
The plane lands and Jane informs everyone on board that they will all be questioned. Commander Chase tells Lucy that Thomas died from a VX nerve agent. She says that Thomas could have been injected any time, and it could have been one or two times.
Neil, Jesse, Jane, and Joe discuss who had access to Thomas. The team finds traces of a VX agent on Thomas’s oxygen tank. Dr. Adrian Dunne gave Thomas the oxygen tank. Jane thinks Dr. Dunne gave Thomas the first agent in the Philippines, and then put the other agent inside his oxygen tank.
In the Philippines, Dr. Dunne is picked up. Jane is hiding in the shadows and comes out to confront him about murdering Thomas and Anton.
Go Big or Go Home
Jane tells Dr. Dunne that she knows he administered the VX agents. Dr. Dunne says Alexi Babith is ‘Silver Moon’ on the dark web and hired him.
Jane is worried about Joe, and he calls her out on it. Ernie tells Kate that she and Lucy seem better. Kate explains that Lucy has moved on and is dating Skylar. Ernie tells Kate that Skylar is not in the picture anymore. He says if Kate wants Lucy, she needs to go big or go home!
Kate and Ernie find the cargo ship Alexi sent to the island weeks ago. Jesse, Kai, and Lucy find Alexi’s boat at the dock and a woman attacks Kai and pepper sprays Jesse. Lucy pulls her gun and arrests the woman. Alexi gets away.
Jane Is Worried
The woman is Alina Nikitin. She was there to capture Alexi and take him to Russia to answer for his crimes. Jane points out that if Alexi was still on the island, he must have plans that will keep him on the island.
Jane meets Colin McIntyre, the leader of The Group. The Group is going to meet and try to come up with a solution for their failed prisoner exchange. Jane is very worried about Joe, so he gives her the location of the meeting.
Boom-Boom tells the group that TATP ingredients were flown in and manufactured on the island. Ernie finds the warehouse the ingredients were shipped to.
The team enters the warehouse and finds huge amounts of TATP. Jesse steps on a trigger and can’t move, or the place will blow!
Jesse kicks everyone out and Kai refuses to leave. Lucy calls Jane and Boom-Boom shows up. He explains that if the bomb goes off, they will all be pink mist. He is able to defuse the bomb.
Several containers of TATP are missing! Kate wants to use Alina, to see if she can help locate Alexia again. The Group shows up at the meeting spot and Jane cannot reach anyone. She has her team move in on The Group’s meeting. The team shows up and finds the security guards dead in the back of a van. The TATP bombs are there and so is Alexi.
Kate goes back to Alina and tells her that someone she loves is headed right into Alexi’s trap and she needs her help. Jane alerts the group about the bomb and tells them to evacuate. Jesse and Lucy take out Alexi, just as he triggers the bomb. Jane becomes emotional seeing Joe lying on the ground.
Love and Betrayal
Boom-Boom tells Jane that Alexi didn’t detonate the bomb, someone else did. Alina tells Kate it was Colin who hired Alexi! Jane has Jesse search Collin for the detonator, but he is clean. Boom-Boom says it’s Collin’s watch that is the detonator!
Joe and Jane decide that they will just enjoy each other while he is here, as they live too far apart to have anything other than a good time with good memories.
Ernie confronts Lucy at the party about searching and looking around for Kate. Lucy is cut off disagreeing, by Kate serenading her. The whole team watches as Kate sings her love for Lucy. They all cheer when Lucy kisses Kate!
