It is with unfortunate regret that we must report that Migos rapper Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston, Texas, in the early morning of Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

According to TMZ, the rapper and Quavo (a fellow Migos group member) were shooting dice with several other men at a bowling alley. An altercation broke out, and reportedly he was shot “either in the head or near his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Takeoff and Quavo posted on their social media pages that they were in Houston celebrating rapper Jas Prince’s birthday.

Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnik Khari Ball, was 28 years old. We send our deepest condolences to Takeoff, his family, and his friends.
