Academy Award winners Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway star in a new movie called Serenity. Oscars alumni are intertwined in this film enlisting Diane Lane (Oscar winner) as well as Djimon Hounsou (an Oscar nominee.) From the creative mind of Oscar nominee Steven Knight comes a daringly original, sexy, stylized thriller. Baker Dill (McConaughey) lives a quiet life as a fishing boat captain shuttling tours in a tropical enclave. His tranquil life is shattered when his ex-wife Karen (Hathaway) finds him and is in desperate need of his help. She pleads with him to save her and their young son from her violent husband (Jason Clarke.) Her plan… take him out on a fishing excursion and throw him in the sea for the sharks. It’s a struggle between right and wrong decisions that may not be all that it seems. Serenity hits theaters January 25th, 2019. Check out the trailer for more!
