LeBron James releases a docuseries, I Promise, which chronicles the launch of his revolutionary I Promise School for students in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. The documentary will premiere on Quibi, a mobile-only streaming platform offering short episodes primed for viewing on a phone. The network launched today and initially includes three episodes. Each episode is less and ten minutes and the complete season docuseries will conclude at a dozen shows, to be released daily.

In the first three episodes, we learn how James’ vision of the school comes to reality. Next, we learn of the faculty and their community approach to not only help children with learning, and eating well, but also helping their parents get their GEDs. Bonds are created with the children so they can learn to share their feelings. Watch more on Quibi, they’re offering a free trial for the first 90 days of subscription.
