The Makings Of A Bomb

Capt. Benson took her time to convince the teen, Nicole, to flip on the Mother Hen, Sam. Nicole was brainwashed and reluctant to rat on Sam, claiming the woman loved her. However, Benson showed Sam being interrogated, and she bluntly told police she didn’t know the girl nor care about her since she was just a call girl.

Nicole finally pointed out Sirenko as the person who chased after Ava because she was video recording a John, who complained to Sirenko. The police had a tracker on Sirenko’s phone and got a warrant to raid and arrest him. However, to their surprise, the man was gone, and they found a hidden room with the makings of a bomb!

The explosive was large, Oklahoma city grade, and capable of massive damage. Stabler and Bell were baffled that Sirenko was into weapons terrorism since he had only been into drugs. The police discussed evacuating potential high-value targets with the FBI, and they wanted more certainty before shutting the city down. The police only knew the bomb was massive and mobile and urged the shutdown of the city!

Stabler shifted to his attention to find the bomb using his CI, Vince, asking him to wear a wire to gain intel on the bomb’s location with Sirenko. Stabler warned Vince to be careful.

Sirenko met with Vince, who claimed that the cops had pressured him to be involved in bomb-making. Vince led him into the basement of a factory. Sirenko interrogated Vince about the bomb while his henchmen accompanied him. Vince tried to probe intel from Sirenko, but the survelience feed started to break. Sirenko told Vince to lawyer up if the police questioned him again.

Vince noticed the concrete was busted and got nervous (which he never does.) This alarmed Stabler and the team, so they breached. Vince took off running, but Sirenko caught up to him and attacked him. Suddenly, there were two shots. Stabler chased after Sirenko and shot at him, then fled. Vince was shot! Stabler tried to calm him, but Vince died in his arms, and Sirenko got away

I Dare You

Stabler felt guilty for being responsible for Vince’s death. They apprehended Sirenko’s bodyguard and interrogated him, yet he lawyered up. The team investigated the van Sirenko drove to the meet and found a possible location for him. Breaching the location revealed a man who Sirenko blackmailed into giving details about his workplace. The man worked at a hotel set to host a NATO event today. Teams rushed to the hotel. Meanwhile, Sirenko can be seen leaving a van in a parking garage

The Feds wrestled with NYPD at the hotel, but the consensus was to evacuate the building! While assisting people, Cosgrove spotted but lost him. Det. Shaw cleared people and found the van with the bomb in the parking garage with minutes left on the timer! Shaw wanted to stay and receive assistance in disarming the device, but there wasn’t any time. As police helped people flee, Cosgrove spotted Sirenko again. He chased and caught him, then the building exploded! Sirenko got away again…

Det. Rollins spotted Sirenko, and police cornered him. Sirenko grabbed a woman, took her hostage, and dipped into a store where more people were taken hostage. The police shifted to hostage negotiations. He demanded a getaway car and tried to flee out of the back but was confronted by police. Sirenko nearly escaped with the hostage until Stabler tackled him. Stabler held him at gunpoint, but he was so enraged that he allowed Sirenko to crawl towards his gun… daring him to grab it, so the detective had an excuse to kill him!
