This bonus disc follows up to already solid album featuring musicians like John Legend, H.E.R., Nas, Ty Dolla $ign, Miguel, and Future. Chilomobo has already been featured in Billboard’s 50 best albums of the year and HipHopDX’s 50 best R&B albums in 2020 thus far.

The new Chilombo (Deluxe) edition album by Jhené Aiko expands on her chill, Zenful, ambient style of songcraft. It speaks of heartbreak, as well as, sexually illustrative encounters. Lead singles such as “Triggered (freestyle)” prepped us for a fiery songstress heeding warning, confusion, and frustration to an ex-beau. The next single “None of Your Concern” even featured that Ex, Big Sean. I personally desire the original “B.S.” version with H.E.R. over the Deluxe’s inclusion of Kehlani.
