Lopez has a long list of skills in her repertoire. Singer, actress, fashion icon, and now a producer, she gives fans an insight into her half-time performance with Shakira. And at the age of 53, it shows that Jenny is ‘still on the block.’

The official press release promises much, “The documentary focuses on an international superstar who has inspired people for decades with her perseverance, creative brilliance, and cultural contributions, And it’s only the beginning.

“Halftime serves as the kickoff to the second half of Lopez’s life, as she lays bare her evolution as a Latina, a mother, and an artist, taking agency in her career and using her voice for a greater purpose.”

But balancing a demanding career, though, is no mean feat. Lopez will spill the beans on how she keeps her family life on point and stays ahead of the game, while she juggles being a mother to her twins.

Yet, at the same time, J-Lo will reveal a vulnerable side that we do not necessarily see through the blood, sweat, and tears. In and amongst that journey, her future plans will come to the fore, including a desire for an Oscar and the name on everyone’s lips: Ben Affleck.

Lopez’s second engagement with the actor led to the resurfacing of ‘Bennifer.’ And to mark that moment, Ben will make an appearance in the documentary too.

However, it was not all a field of roses. Jennifer’s failure to get an Oscar nomination for her role in ‘Hustlers’ was hard to take. On top of that, her life in the public eye brought about many challenges.

Her initial split from Affleck was compounded by accusations of Lopez being a diva. But through it all, she came out the other side. The highs, lows, tears, and tribulations have defined a career that has exceeded two decades.

J-Lo is still relevant to this day, if not more. And that was achieved through a mentality that has only gotten stronger. “It was hard. I just had a very low self-esteem. I had to really figure out who I was and believe in that and not believe anything else,” Lopez narrates in the trailer.
