Previously on FBI Season 5 Episode 8, when a deadly truck heist arms the killers with enough ammonium nitrate to construct a massive bomb, the team discovers a link to a terrorist group Maggie is working to infiltrate.

On FBI Season 5 Episode 9, Agent Nina Chase (who is portrayed by Shantel VanSanten) returns to FBI! She has an interesting proposal for Agent Scola. Did she decide to keep their child?
Meanwhile, a teen, Trevor Logan (portrayed by Bobby Hogan), walked into the FBI headquarters covered in blood and holding a large bag. He was confronted by gunpoint- thinking it was explosives. Scola and Wallace were able to talk Trevor down. They discover he had 5 kilos of uncut Fentynal in his possession. And if the packages ripped and they breathed in the drug, they could be killed!
After investigating his father, they discovered he is a drug dealer, and his son is caught up in his mess. Trevor’s father, Vince, had been shot, and the Feds suspected Trevor got involved in making amends with rival dealers. The FBI decided to use Trevor to their advantage to take down a major Fentynal supplier, possibly…
