Previously on FBI Season 5 Episode 4, the team investigates a series of brutal assaults. OA hides information about his own mugging.

Warning… Spoilers below!

On FBI Season 5 Episode 5, a wealthy man drove his niche drop-top Porsche in New York City and was cut off by a large dark van. A pair of masked gunmen blasted assault shotgun shells at the man, killing him in cold blood!

Cleaning Up Loose Ends

The victim, Frank Leone (portrayed by Erik Parillo), appeared to be a target in a mafia hit, which is why the FBI was called into the case. Agent OA confirmed the assault shotgun rounds were used in the military for close-quarters work. Their only eyewitness would be reluctant to give much since, in that neighborhood, snitches get stitches!

Wallace and Scola interviewed a witness for details who shared some interesting details. The Feds learned that Leone had recently been liquidating his assets. Speaking with his widow, and she was being evasive about their sale of assets for cash. She claimed not to know much about his job but that he only had one client… which she suspected was drug-related. She gave the FBI his laptop with a backup plan.

The Feds investigated that Leone worked for El Feo (portrayed by Mike Seal). It appears Leone was El Feo’s money man, and he was eliminated. The FBI learned Leone was going to testify against El Feo. The DEA felt the leak was inside the grand jury. Digging deeper revealed a juror was the connection. Unfortunately, they were tortured and murdered to cover El Feo’s deadly tracks.

The Feds tracked the van from security footage, and facial recognition revealed he was Marcus Thierre (portrayed by Zach Meiser). When Agents tried to apprehend him, he shot at them, he fled, and got away…

Flopped Cop

The Feds got a hit of another brutal shooting from the same hitmen as the ballistics matched. They murdered a couple, Mrs. Sauders and her husband, after hitting Frank Leone. The FBI suspected El Feo (portrayed by Mike Seal) was behind the attacks. Agent Wallace once worked with El Feo’s cousin back when she was a cop and offered to approach the former officer for intel.

El Feo’s cousin, Ralphie (portrayed by Will Dalton as Ralphie), recently reached out to Wallace for help with a weapons charge, and she used that to gain information. Ralphie had been flopped from the force for losing probation. They learned that Ralphie was propositioned by El Feo for some breaking and entering jobs. Ralphie refused the man who kills half of his employees!

Ralphie was upset about how El Feo ran the neighborhood- flooding with Fentynal, and he murdered Ralphie’s brother! Ralphie was down to help. However, Scola was reluctant to use the former cop. Wallace vouched for her former partner.

In The Wind

Agents outfitted Ralphie with fancy gadgets for audio and video surveillance. His goal was to get El Feo’s relation to Leone. Ralphie approached his cousin, but the man was dubious about why he wanted to work for him now. Ralphie was convincing and managed to sneak into an office and gain intel from a cell phone.

Ralphie was appalled at how his cousin operated but was happy to help take him down. Soon the Feds got the location of Marcus, who previously got away. They took him down without much incident. The man was shopping for his newborn daughter. They leveraged his family for intel on the boss, Junior Ruiz and El Feo.

The Feds got a warrant to arrest the two. When they arrived at his residence, Junior was killed, and El Feo was in the wind

Vengeance

El Feo slipped out of his house, and the Feds pieced together something Ralphie told them. He mentioned that El Feo wanted to go fishing. When they tracked him down, Ralphie had forced El Feo to dig his own grave and had a gun to his cousin’s head. Wallace and Scola confronted Ralphie, but he pulled his gun o El Feo and used him as a shield.

After El Feo taunted Ralphie, he pushed him into the grave and pointed his gun at El Feo. Wallace tried to talk him down but was forced to shoot him. El Feo grabbed his gun, and they shot him too!

Later on, Wallace confessed to Scola that she was responsible for him getting flopped…
