On FBI Season 5 Episode 2, Detective Max Villa entered a pawn shop, gunshots rang out, and a man with a red mask ran out. The cop and the shop owner were killed!

Pawn Shop Murder Robbery

Agents Scola and Chase received the alert. Chase had been staying at his place…

FBI agents are called to assist local police when a detective, along with the owner, were murdered at a pawn shop. The assailant wore a red mask and got away. While investigating the case, the Feds learned the security cameras were installed but weren’t hooked up.

The Feds caught the case because pawn shops are considered financial institutions. The team found the owner brought in questionable funds. Villa was there, possibly because he worked fencing cases. After some investigation, the FBI learned that the owner, Roberts, was possibly a confidential informant.

The FBI tracked a man, Logan Reid, whose phone was tracked at the crime scene. Agents arrested him in Central Park. Although he knew the store owner (since he fenced stolen goods to him), he seemed genuinely shocked that the man was dead. He claimed not to murder him and decided to broker a deal to reveal the true killer. He took a photo of the masked man before he hopped into a car and fled.

The Feds caught up to the suspect, and he shot at Scola and Chase, hitting Nina in the vest, but she was fine. He got away again…

Compelled By Love

The murder suspect robbed another pawn shop and opened fire on a crowded street, injuring an innocent civilian. The team worked to contain the perimeter, yet he got away. Surveillance footage and facial recognition revealed the gunman was Devjeet Kamra, a valedictorian and recent Ivy league dropout. The team pondered what would motivate a young man with a promising future to rob pawn shops and commit multiple murders!

Could he be doing it because he is madly in love with another Ivy Leaguer?

Agents visited Kamra’s home and spot with his family in hopes of tracking him down. His sister revealed the location of his apartment. They breached and found jewelry and cash. They also found he was dating a woman, Skyler Smith.

Bluffed

The investigation led to a man named Tito Martinez. Agents apprehended and interrogated him, revealing he had kidnapped Skyler because Kamra owed their organization a $40K debt. Seems Kamra turned to run drugs after his family cut him off. Kamra thought the police were after him and dumped the drugs before apprehension.

The Feds investigated more and found they there minutes too late from missing Kamra, who bluffed his way into the kidnapper’s hideout, killed the man who was holding Skyler, and fled.

I Can Talk Her Downi7

The FBI returned to the Kamra residence searching for the couple but just missed them. Kamra was shot, and his sister tried to assist him before they fled. When they caught up to them at a gas station, Skyler took a pregnant woman hostage and backed into the station.

The FBI called Skyler to negotiate the release of her hostages. Chase convinced OA that she could talk Skyler down disguised as a paramedic. The pregnant woman was allowed to leave. Chase entered and assisted Kamra’s gunshot wound.

Chase shifted into full negotiator mode, trying to talk Skyler down. The woman became more hysterical, threatening to kill her if Kamra died. She even fired a shot in the air, which intensified the situation. The team had to make a move. Despite Chase’s efforts, a sniper shot and killed Skyler! Kamra made it out alive…

  1. Steve Davis says:

Too violent. Hard to believe the killer’s girl friend would shoot at FBI agents.
