On the FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 Episode 10, LaCroix and Sarah saw Tali off at the airport. She was thankful he allowed her to go to the boarding school. It was painful for Jess but he had to let his daughter go.

Bangs & Smoke

A bomber entered a casino and threw napalm-style bombs on card tables, then at security guards, shot a few then fled! He didn’t try to conceal his face and the Feds quickly identified him as Binh Dao. Since the bomb was inspired from the Vietnam War days, they pondered a terrorist act but the back hadn’t been to the country since he was a toddler. He was a discharged Marine and they wondered what was his motive.

They discovered his parents and ex-girlfriend Linda Pham and decided to pay them all a visit. LaCroix and Gaines visited the parents, Thuy Dao-Weldon and Ken Weldon. They asked about their disgruntled son and learned Thuy required back surgery but it was postponed. They asked about the burn victim at the casino because Binh went directly to her table to bomb her. They felt something was off with the parents. Barnes and Ortiz visited Linda and she told them that he had a great character and was a standup military vet.

Binh sought to help a woman, Elyse Tooms, with her groceries and set a napalm smoke bomb in her car, blocked her door from escape, and smoked suffocated her to death! He antagonized her for the advice she had given him years prior…

Sucker On The Floor

The team investigated the crime scene and spoke with the victim’s son, Aaron. The woman had taken Binh and his mother is when they first arrived in the States. She even helped Binh get a job when he was discharged from the military. The man was baffled why would he turn on people who helped him.

The team visited Binh’s former platoon member, Jared Johns, and they learned Binh lied about military combat. His friend, Thompson, was accidentally killed in training… not at war. The team pondered whether his being bullied pushed him over the edge, but that still doesn’t justify his extreme actions.

Binh slipped into his parents’ home and pointed his pistol at Ken demanding to know why he ruined their family. Thuy entered demanding Binh to stop and turn himself in. She went to call the FBI and Ken told her not to but she proceeded. He blurred that she wouldn’t understand and fled. When the team arrived. Thuy was irate demanding Ken tell what he did to Binh. In private, Ken shared that Binh killed the friend and made it look like an accident and he has been protecting him ever since confessing to him. Ken told them Binh killed Thompson because he was signifying racist smirks about his mother!

The team felt Ken was still hiding something so LaCroix and Ortiz visited the casino dealer who was burned, Lauren Williams. She knew of Binh, but only from photos Ken had shown her since he was a regular at the casino. Ken had drained the family’s savings gambling. Lauren told them that Ken had been “rated” at the casino for the past two years, in layman’s terms it means a “sucker is on the floor.” The team pulled Thuy in and told her what her husband was up to…

Binh pulled into a tennis club and cut a man off at the exit. He came to the man’s window and threw a bomb inside, torching him alive! The man was Bill Mirica, Thuy’s former employer. The pieces were starting to connect as Elyse introduced Thuy to Bill through their church. She explained her background (having a Ph.D. in Engineering from Vietnam) but her heritage prevented her from getting a job in her field and she settled for a house cleaning job. The team figured all the people who wronged Binh’s mother were the trigger…

They suspected the lab that denied Thuy the job years ago was the next target. The Feds called the lab and had them go on lockdown while they met at the facility. Binh carjacked an engineer from the lab and tried to sneak in but the FBI was at the gates. He forced the man to drive through the barricade and a car chase ensued. They pit maneuvered the car and Binh tried to bail but dropped his gun and agents had weapons drawn on him.

He had explosives in his backpack and LaCroix tried to talk him down yet he tried to flee until they told him they had his mother. They used the mother to talk him down. He was upset she allowed society to treat them like trash. He exposed the bombs, pulled one out, his mother pleaded, and just when he was going to bomb himself… he kneeled and surrendered.

When Jess got home, Sarah and his sister Louise surprised him with a movie night after a hard day…
