Watch City on a Hill Season 3 Episode 5 Recap “Take Me Home”

Previously on City on a Hill Season 2 Episode 4, as Jackie continues his fling with Letitia Dryden, Jenny sets out to get her husband reinstated in the FBI. The pressure on Decourcy mounts when a colleague competing for the position of DA lands a conviction. Caysen testifies at the federal trial of Tony Suferin and is blindsided by the consequences. A threatening interaction offers Siobhan a sense of what exactly she is up against in her fight for the Mendoza family

On City On A Hill Season 3 Episode 5, Jackie and Jenny are still fighting. Jenny hates Jackie’s job, and the added stress of her father’s lawsuit isn’t helping. Jackie is back on cocaine and having an affair. Siobhan is stressed and unhealed still. She is putting all her time and energy into the Big Dig case for Hernando.

Hit-and-Run

Jackie and Father Diarmuid don’t see eye to eye about Jenny’s father. Jackie is livid that Father Diarmuid would even bring Jenny’s father around, and when Jackie sees him, he hits him with his car.

Decourcy questions why Whitaker pointed out 2 different suspects. Whitaker explains that the cops, Knoche and Plunkett, wanted him to point out someone else. Letitia confronts Jackie for talking to their driver and Dominique’s parents. Jackie is asked to make a delivery for Sinclair.

Dirty Cops

Jackie makes a delivery of a package to Bette, the latest girl he witnessed Sinclair drug and rape. Bette takes the package and is ashamed. Decourcy starts digging into Knoche and Plunkett.

Jackie makes a deal with Knoche and Plunkett. Jackie wants them taken down and is willing to help Decourcy do it.

Siobhan meets up with Hernando’s sister about his growing pile of unpaid bills. Jenny lets it slip to Jackie that she has more information on Sinclair and Letitia than she should know. Jackie gets upset and nervous.

Deals

Decourcy and Chris pay Plunkett a visit and convince him to turn on Knoche. They offer him the deal first but will offer the same deal to Knoche if Plunkett turns it down. Jackie finds out that Sinclair has been accused of sexual assault before, but the girl is threatened into silence.

Jenny gives her side of the assault that brought forth her father’s lawsuit. Siobhan reaches out to Tim’s wife for help in getting Tim to give a statement about what really happened during Hernando’s accident.

Letitia calls Jackie’s house, and Jenny answers. Jackie searches for Sinclair’s very first accuser. Siobhan meets up with Tim, who gives a statement saying that Hernando’s accident was Big Dig’s fault.

Kissed

Plunkett takes the deal Decourcy and Jackie have offered him and gives them all the information he has on Knoche. When Jenny asks Father Diarmuid for help, he kisses her and walks away.

Chris starts questioning if he’s a good father or not. Decourcy convinces him to come out for a couple of drinks. Jackie finds out that his daughter, Benny, is in the Poconos.

Jenny and Jackie start fighting about her father. Jackie wants Jenny to tell her lawyer the truth about what her father has done to her in the past. Jenny doesn’t want to, and Jackie is livid.

No Help

Jackie meets up with Red and complains about having to do dirty work to make dirty money. Jackie heads to Decourcy’s office and tells him everything he knows about Sinclair. Decourcy tells Jackie that he will not help him take down Sinclair.

Siobhan watches an interview Big Dig does on TV, blaming Hernando for his own accident, saying he was drinking on the job. During the interview, Siobhan being fired from her last job for being mentally unstable is brought up.

Chris picks up a prostitute at a bar. Michaela, a reporter, shows up at Siobhan’s work asking questions about Siobhan and Lulu’s role in Taylor Malcolm’s hit-and-run. Michaela is kicked out, and Siobhan is worried.

Help Offered

Decourcy takes Siobhan to a shooting range to help her become more comfortable around a gun. She has a panic attack, and Decourcy offers therapy as a solution.

Decourcy meets up with Jackie after having a change of heart and mind. Decourcy now wants to help take down Sinclair. He is sick of rich men getting away with all these crimes.

    Love this series. So thankful to have a song I wrote, performed and produced on Episode 5. “Hidden Tears” by The NEM Project plays during the scene where Jackie meets his friend to get cocaine. It plays while Jackie is in the restroom and he snorts cocaine off his FBI badge. The song also is featured in the final scene and during the credits.
