Cardi B and Fashion Nova clothing brand have pledged to give $1 million dollars (or $1,000 per hour) until May 20th to help families affected by COVID-19. The rapper wanted to make sure the money gets in the hands of the people. The initiative is Fashion Nova Cares if you are impacted by the Coronavirus you can apply here. Along with your contact information they are asking for a personal story of inspiration.
The Invasion of Privacy rapper also added to make sure your Instagram page is open as she says she is personally going through the pages. So if you’re tossing money in the air and social media ballin’ it wouldn’t be wise to submit for aid if you so-called got it?!?
However, for many Americans, they really need this help because many jobs instantly vanished, unemployment has hit a record high (no other Presidential administration has seen such loss of jobs ever,) stimulus money has not hit yet, and families struggle to put food on the table. Recently, Leonardo DiCaprio and Oprah Winfrey have pledged millions of dollars to fund food banks feed Americans. It is rewarding to see celebs and brands stepping up and giving back to their supporters.
