Jimmy and Kim slipped into the back room of a veterinarian’s office, Dr. Caldera (portrayed by Joe DeRos), for a secret and untraceable concoction. He was tired of the life and told them he was going legit and giving up his little black book of clients. They asked to see it and surprisingly, he showed them though it was encrypted with symbols only he could read. They did notice the vacuum cleaner guy’s business card (the one who helped disappear Saul and Walter White). The concoction made the eyes diolate

Conflict With D-Day

Clifford slipped into one of Kim’s court cases and was impressed with how she handled things, but the math didn’t add up. Dwindling down to nearly minimum wage. He asked her about her relationship with HHM and a foundation that funds court cases.

Later on, Kim stopped by Jimmy’s office and ran into Francesca Liddy (Tina Parker). She designed a classy reception area (something that will definitely change to a check-cashing decor over time).

Jimmy was in his office prepping for a shoot with his student film crew. Kim updated Jimmy about the foundation and she was in the final running for the gig. She was concerned because the lunch meeting for the position was on “D-Day”. He told her that she didn’t need to be present and they were excited about the news.

Meanwhile, a man was chopping wood in the forest and he noticed another man in the distance… it was Lalo. The man asked did they know each other then Lalo pulled his gun, the man fled and Salamanca gave chase. The man hid in his barn and surprise attacked Lalo, demanding to know why was he there. Lalo was hurt and told him that he was there to learn what did he and his team build for Gustavo Fring.

Lalo distracted him and sliced him with a razor blade then chopped him with the ax. Lalo gave him a belt to stop his bleeding and started to interrogate him for information…

Abort

Jimmy pressured Francesca to call HHM about the class action case, though she was uncomfortable with the sketchy task. They managed to fake as a claimant and gain the conference call dial-in information.

Gustavo’s secret underground laboratory is underway, while the topside fronts for a commercial laundry service. Gus sent Tyrus to question Mike’s management of his security and he was offended. Mike was so cautious lately, that he had a prop house across the street from his daughter. It was his only way to call and see them while the heat was on.

Jimmy and Kim marveled at their master plan and decided to celebrate. They toasted to tomorrow’s victory on the lawn of Hamlin, Hamlin, and McGill. The next day, Jimmy purchased a premium bottle of Zafiro Añejo (a fictitious tequila once an Easter Egg in Breaking Bad and had the top token shown in the premiere). He ran into the judge they planned to impersonate with his actor. The judge had a cast on his arm. Jimmy frantically called Kim to abort the D-Day plans. Kim told him they weren’t aborting D-Day
