Previously on 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3 Episode 11, Grace and Carlos team up to investigate a prank 9-1-1 call that turns deadly. Another online gamer pranked a man by calling the police to his home and Carlos caused him to accidentally kill him. They ultimately found the perpetrator and called up Sgt. Athena Grant (from the original 9-1-1 series) to arrest the man.

Meanwhile, Owen and the 126 race to the rescue when Catherine receives a package at the governor’s office that may contain a bio-hazard. Initially, they suspected it was anthrax or ricin poisoning- the latter was deadly within hours of exposure. The lab determined it was not a harmful substance. However, later on, Owen discovered the attacks were aimed at him…

Warning… Spoilers below!

On 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3 Episode 12, Ranger Reyes interviewed Owen about the slain hog in his bed and was asked who could have beef with him. It got weird when the truth came to light about him slugging quite a few people (including cops) in the past few months. However, remember when Austin experienced a terrible winter storm? Do you recall Deputy Griffin who worked for the Mexican cartel? The cop Marjan and Owen took down… Welp, he got out of jail and Owen suspects that he is behind the recent threats on his and Catherine’s life!

Punchout

Tommy and Nancy help a woman on 9-1-1 Lone Star Season 3 Episode 12

Carlos escorted Tommy, Nancy, and T.K. to a home of a terminally ill cancer woman. Her sister called because the woman was passed out on the floor. Nancy was about to shock her back to life but hesitated yet zapped her anyway. When she recovered, she scolded everyone for recovering her as she had on a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) bracelet!

Marjan paid for an online background checking site to find Roy Griffin’s location. She hauled Paul with her to his job as a security guard at the supermarket. She was pissed to see him free and appalled he looked my a good guy, helping an older lady with her groceries. She charged past him calling him a “Murderer!” Then marched into the store, hopped on the counter, ranted over the store’s intercom that he was a cold-blooded murderer!

Back at the station, Nancy got served, she was being sued by the woman she saved. Meanwhile, Owen confronted Marjan for confronting Griffin. Texas rangers witnessed the ordeal as they were developing a surveillance operation on the man. Griffin was fired. Marjan wanted to warn Sadie who was in town for her new art showcase.

Owen and Marjan visited her at the gallery to inform her that Griffin was released. Shortly, Griffin was spotted at the gallery. Owen approached him demanding he leaves. Words were exchanged, Griffin threatened Marjan, then Owen punched the guy and got arrested!

Making A Point

Ironically, Griffin hit Owen with a restraining order and the Texas Rangers would stop surveilling him. Owen spoke with Catherine, T.K., and Carlos trying to gain tangible dirt on the man that he cannot beat. They brainstormed an idea to comb the capitol building security footage to see if he was responsible for the biohazard scare. He wouldn’t be able to beat a terrorism charge if he was!

Meanwhile, Tommy and Nancy received the terrible news that Joanne Paulson was suing the city for one million dollars. She was suing both Tommy and Nancy for $1 each. (She was making a point!) She also wanted Nancy fired. Their attorney advised them that they can win the case since the EMTs didn’t see her bracelet, nor were they advised on the 9-1-1 call…

Later on, Nancy confessed to Tommy that she did see the DNR bracelet but saved her anyway. Nancy could only think of her sister and decided to resign and spare the city and her coworkers the grief. Tommy felt there was another way…

Capt. Strand arrives at a fire at Sadie’s art gallery on 9 1 1 Lone Star Season 3 Episode 12

Shortly after, Strand and the 126 were called to the art gallery where Sadie’s art was on display. They received intel that a woman was trapped inside and Owen breached the inferno in search of her. He found Sadie passed out and carried her out before the roof collapsed!

Preliminary results revealed Sadie accidentally caused the fire. Owen was disappointed the Rangers wouldn’t surveil Griffin. The cop gave up Griffin’s address and Owen decided to do a stakeout that night. After Sadie was released, he took her to his house where Catherine, T.K., and Carlos were. Owen was taking off for the stakeout yet Catherine wanted to join him.

Tommy and Nancy met with Joanne and her sister to convince her to drop the lawsuit.

Stalking A Stalker While On A Date

When Owen arrived at Griffin’s house, Marjan was there already so he booted her. The couple were distracted and didn’t notice Griffin sneak up on them. He looked so frightening and reached into his pocket and pulled out a phone to take their picture and report Owen to the police. He laughed his way to his car and suddenly it exploded! Owen rushed to the man’s aid.

Meanwhile, back at Owen’s place, Carlos and T.K. were looking through the footage. They ate soup and T.K. didn’t feel well and went to the bathroom. However, Carlos spotted something disturbing… he saw Sadie leaving Catherine’s office. Carlos calmly asked her why did she threaten Catherine, she explained that she was meant to be with Owen and Catherine was in her way. And that she started the fire because she knew Owen would come to save her.

Marjan came to Owen’s and Sadie answered the door and tried to lie about why she was there alone. She discovered Carlos passed out and Sadie stabbed her in the back. Marjan ripped the knife out and decked Sadie, knocking her out. She fainted right after. Owen and Ranger Reyes arrived to help his friends and arrest Sadie!

Darkness

Nancy was benched from fieldwork. However, she received a visit from Joanne’s sister informing them that she passed. She also told them Joanne dropped the lawsuit and left her DNR bracelet for her as a reminder to listen while saving lives.

Owen visited Marjan in the hospital and shared Sadie’s case file. The woman he met in the cabin was on the run because she murdered her ex-husband… authorities found his severed head in her freezer!

Owen then visited Griffin who was charred from serious third-degree burns all over his body. Owen pieced together that Griffin was released for flipping on the cartel, making a deal with the Feds. Griffin asked why did Owen save him. She told him that’s his job. However, Owen did get dark when told the man that he will be relieved by the fact that the man will be in pain for the rest of his life…
